The Friends Are Seeking Your Assistance
in Locating Cary Historic Photos

The Friends are conducting research for a photographic history book and are seeking your assistance in locating photographs over the next several months that will help tell our community’s story. These include, but are not limited to, images that depict Cary’s history in the areas of education, transportation, community celebrations, local landmarks (past and present), and others.

Please note that we are not asking for donations, but rather looking for pictures to scan into the computer that potentially may be used in the book.  Even if the photos are not published, they will become part of the Friends’ documentation of Cary’s history.

If you have photos you would like to share, please contact us at or the Page-Walker Arts & History Center at (919) 460-4963.

The pictures can either be scanned by a Friends board member at your preferred location, or by appointment at the Page-Walker Arts & History Center. If published, the book will credit the source for each image used.
