President's Volunteer Service Award

The Friends are proud to sponsor the President's Volunteer Service Award (PVSA). We are a Certifying Organization for this award, which recognizes individuals who demonstrate outstanding volunteer service and civic participation over the course of a 12-month period. Our current service year runs from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021.

Volunteer service that supports the Friends' mission is the underlying intent of this award. A variety of volunteer service hours qualify, from tending to the educational herb garden to helping plan and carry out events to caring for a historic cemetery. All activities must be unpaid and for the larger community.
